Hartlepool was centre stage in 2010 when it hosts the magnificent Tall Ships fleet. The Hartlepool Tall Ships Celebration were one of England's biggest free events in 2010 with up to one million visitors over the 4 day period. Hartlepool played host to many Tall Ships from around the world staying in the Marina and Port.
